What it is
A tailored advice report, known in Dutch as a maatwerkadvies, is a separate assessment that looks at your property in detail and sets out possible improvements, the likely effect on the label, and a sensible order in which to carry them out.
When it is useful
You have just bought a home and want to plan improvements
You want to know which measure gives the most benefit first
A lender or subsidy scheme asks for a substantiated plan
You own a listed or characterful property where standard measures may not be possible
What it is not
It is not a quotation for building work and not a promise of a particular label class. It is an assessment of what is technically sensible for your property, so that you can make decisions with better information.
