How Much Does an Energy Label Cost in the Netherlands?
The price of a Dutch energy label depends on the property type, the usable floor area and where the property is. Enter your postcode and house number and you see the total price for your address, including VAT, before you commit to anything.
There is no single national tariff for an energy label; providers set their own prices. With us the total price covers the preparation, the visit, the calculation, the quality check and the registration in EP-Online. There is no deposit and no separate registration fee.

What determines the price
We retrieve the property type and floor area from the national registers (EP-Online and the BAG) for you. If something is not right, you can correct it before you see the price.
What the price includes
When you receive a tailored quotation
Some properties fall outside the fixed price bands, for example a very large home, a home combined with business or practice space, a split or merged property, or a building with several addresses. You can still complete your request; you then receive a tailored quotation, including the inspection and registration, before anything is agreed.
If it turns out on site that the property type or floor area is different from what was in your request, we discuss any change with you beforehand. You never receive an invoice for something that was not agreed.
Why prices differ between providers
Prices can differ between providers because the time reserved for travel, inspection, evidence review, data entry and quality control varies. For renovated or complex homes, careful assessment of supporting evidence is particularly important, because improvements can only be included when they can be properly substantiated.

For a portfolio or several homes at once, a project price can be agreed once the number, spread and types of property are known. Use the business request form.

Is the registration fee included?
Yes. The registration in EP-Online is part of the total price you see. There is no separate fee.
Do I have to pay a deposit?
No. You pay the agreed amount after invoicing. The price you see includes 21% Dutch VAT.
Why do I have to enter my address to see the price?
Because the price depends on the property type, the floor area and the location. With your address we retrieve those details and show the total for your property rather than an indicative range.
Is a tailored improvement report included?
No. An energy label is not a tailored improvement plan. Tailored advice is a separate service.
